Li has been awarded First Prize in the Novel Category at the 2025 Book Fair Awards, adding another shining chapter to her remarkable literary career.
Chia-Ying Li’s works span both prose and fiction, marked by a refined and distinctive style. She excels in capturing fleeting details of everyday life and imbuing them with profound meaning. Her fiction is known for its precise, understated language, weaving depth into both details and plot. Celebrated author Chang Ta-Chun once praised her mastery, noting that “her ability to balance detail and meaning approaches the natural grace of Huang Chun-Ming.”
Even during her university years, Li’s literary brilliance was evident—she won the United Literature Fiction Newcomer Award, the National College Student Literary Award, and the Hsinchu Literary Award, among others. Now, with the 2025 Book Fair Award, she continues to shine brightly on the literary stage.
