Our student, Chen Huai-Min, has recently brought exciting news to the department. He has been successfully selected for the Ministry of Education Youth Development Administration’s “Youth Hundred-Billion Overseas Dream Program – Overseas Soaring Track” under the project “G-1-19 Global Youth Leadership Pathway.”
This coming summer, he will travel to New York, USA, to undertake a two-month internship at STUF United Fund Inc. During this period, he will also visit the permanent missions of Taiwan’s diplomatic allies to the United Nations and attend side events of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, gaining first-hand experience in project operations and policy communication within the UN and international organizations, while broadening his global perspective.
In addition, Chen Huai-Min and his team were selected for the 10th TSMC Youth Dream Builders Program with their project “Sailing into the Unknown: The Fearless of the Southern Ocean.” Among 134 competing teams, they stood out as one of the final eight selected teams. These achievements highlight the outstanding performance of our students in humanistic literacy, interdisciplinary practice, and public engagement.
The department extends its warmest congratulations and looks forward to seeing this valuable experience transformed into future learning and action. We wish him every success in his international internship and a fruitful journey abroad!
